Discover

The Orphanage

Anne, the anglicized name for the founder of the orphanage supported by Global Partners In Life, was volunteering at an orphanage when she realized she could provide better care than the special needs children she worked with were currently receiving. She began taking children home to her apartment in 1996. To this day, Anne is called upon by hospitals and orphanages all over China to provide superior care for children suffering from the most severe medical conditions.

With So Many Orphans In The World...

Why focus on the abandoned children in China?

Almost One Million Orphans In China

China’s one-child policy has led to an increase in the number of abandoned children, whose parents are afraid of governmental retributions.

98% Of Orphans In China Have A Disability

Chinese parents want their one and only allowed child to be healthy, but often they can’t afford the medical treatments, so the child is abandoned.

More Orphans & Less Adoptions Means Increased Financial Needs

With adoption policies changing, adoptions have decreased while the number of orphans has increased, thereby straining the limited resources for orphans.

We need to step in and provide for those that...

Can neither fend for, nor represent themselves!
