I have an amazingly wonderful trip to Peru to share with you. I had a very full and incredibly rewarding trip. On the first day, we built three houses for homeless widows. This widow pictured was turning 82 years old a couple of days after we built the home for her!  She was extremely thankful for her new home!

The following day we built an additional 3 homes for homeless widows. The first one was for a very lively and thankful lady named Berta. We also built a home for a young homeless widow that has six children! The mother of this widow was living in a shanty beside the home we built for her daughter. When we were leaving, the grandmother told me they didn’t have any food, so we passed the hat and gave them enough cash to have food for quite some time!

During this trip I was able to spend a large amount of time at the New Life Children’s Home we support.  Our partner, Mike Kennedy, is providing care for almost 20 orphans now, and he is working on getting some of the children adopted soon.  While I was there, some of the children had a soccer match one night, making this trip such a rewarding experience as I watched them enjoy life.

Through your support these widows are no longer homeless, the orphans are receiving amazingly good care!
